Jim is a professional photographer based in Hampshire. Together with his wife Nikki, they specialise
in people photography, including portraiture, weddings, schools and dance. Jim is an Associate of
the RPS and of the British Institute of Professional Photographers. He is also an experienced camera
club judge.
For the past five years Jim has been involved in photographing the school life at Winchester College;
the 700 pupils who board, the teaching staff, support staff as well as visiting speakers. Alan says:
“This is predominately about people, not history. It is a window into a school where even the parents
do not get to see everything that goes on – though showing this is a key part of my job. I will be
happy to answer questions as we go along about my techniques too”
