Workshop: Photographing Cut Flowers with Jacqui Dracup

Event Details

The first practical demonstration and have a go yourselves workshop in the small hall this season.

Jacqui Dracup will give a short demonstration, she will provide backgrounds and flowers, both fresh and dried, together with a few props to guide you through arranging and photographing your own creation.  You are welcome to bring some favourites of your own.  Using the available light and simple techniques you will see how to experiment with flowers fresh and dried on black and white backgrounds.  All you learn this morning will be easy to replicate at home.

Jacqui and Liz will show how they post process the images to get the best out of them. As this is a practical workshop you are encouraged to bring along your cameras with standard lens and tripods with remote controls if available.  (Jacqui uses 12-40mm) You will be shown how to get the best shots with the equipment and light at your disposal.

Come and join Jacqui and Liz for a couple of hours on Saturday morning 12th February between 10 and 12 – there will be plenty to play with and lots to chat about.

Book using the Eventbrite link in the Member’s area.

Don’t forget there will be a charge for the hire of the hall – BRCC camera club bank details are below (please put your name and workshop date as reference or bring a cheque or card to use the club card reader.
