We would like to invite Club members to participate in the photography for this event and in the production of a book. Taking pictures in this environment can be challenging as you are inside a dark church and the flower displays are illuminated largely from the rear, sometimes with stained glass window. It is an excellent opportunity to learn or practice new skills or revive ones you may not have used for a while.
The Festival this year is planned for the weekend of 24 & 25 June.
On the preceding Thursday and Friday the flowers are delivered and arranged. At this time the church is busy and we should keep out of the way. The Festival itself opens on Saturday at 10:00 and early on Saturday is the best time for photography as the church is usually fairly quiet for the first hour or so. We will be at the church from 10:00 until 12:00 on Saturday, 24 June to take photographs of the displays, come and join us.

There is no charge for this event, however a donation to the church to help with the costs of the Festival is encouraged.
