COFFEE MORNINGAn opportunity for members to gather and chat outside our regular meetings programme in a relaxed environment.
Just turn up on the 2nd Thursday of the month – 10am at Manor Nursery Tearoom, Lagness Road, PO20 1LJ

FLICKRA public on-line Website service for posting and sharing images
BRCC has three, members only, groups within Flickr.
The first group is for simple sharing of your curent images with other club members. You are encouraged to check this group regularly and comment on or ‘favourite’ fellow members’ images.
The other two offer different options. One is a monthly themed competition with certificate awarded to the ‘best’ image and another with a weekly challenge – post an image a week. This is great for encouraging you to practice your hobby regularly.

Photographs can be output in various ways. For competitions purposes we use three types, Print, PDI and Photobooks. Details of these are in the competition requirements.

RPSRoyal Photographic Society – The Society provides many services for individuals interested in photography. Annual membership is £95, services include Workshops and Distinctions
SCPFSouthern Counties Photographic Federation
The SCPF is the local ‘branch’ of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and BRCC is a member of this local group of camera clubs. They provide interclub events, and support such as Annual Print and PDI competitions with other clubs as well as training and evaluation for competition judges.
A selection committee in BRCC chooses images to represent our club in those competitions.
SNAPSHOTSThis is a Weekly Newsletter sent by email, usually arrives on Sunday evening.
It is the main route for sharing current updates to club information, the best way to keep informed!
All members are automatically enrolled. If you are not receiveng yours then contact the Membership Secretary.
TEA & COFFEEFor normal evening meetings at T. Mary’s hall members take turns to provide tea and coffee at the half time break. So please bring your own mug (we don’t do washing up!), £1 per cup, and put your name on the duty list.
WORKSHOPSMembers of the club run workshops to share skills and expertise. Our aim is to provide one a month through the year.
